KidLife - Student Volunteer Application

This application is for students wanting to volunteer who currently are in grades 6th to 12th grade.

Hi there!

Dear Parent,

Congratulations! Your student has asked to participate in CLF’s KidLife Go Team Ministry! KidLife is a great opportunity for VOX and JVOX students to serve in our amazing KidLife ministry. We have seen God do amazing things in the lives of the youth who work with our children and we’re so excited for your student to join us.

Participation in KidLife requires:
- Proper attire
- Positive attitude
- Attending workshop trainings and meetings throughout the year.
- Arriving 15 min prior to service time.
- Attending JVOX at least 3 times a month if middle school age
- Attending VOX as well as Sunday Worship Services for High School Age students, worship one serve one

Once your student has turned in an application to KidLife, they may serve in any
service or event that offers children’s ministry at CLF unless it conflicts with a VOX or JVOX service. They’ll simply check in at a kiosk to get a KidLife name tag. (Please note: KidLife Volunteers are not allowed in a classroom without a printed name tag and room assignment). We ask that KidLife Volunteers stay 15 minutes after the service has ended to help clean up the environment.
Students may serve up to five times a month; however, there is a minimum commitment of two services per month to be on the KidLife Go Team. We feel it’s a privilege to work with the children and teachers in our classrooms. To maintain our standards and level of service, we invest
in training to equip KidLife Volunteers to understand our guidelines
and behavior expectations. We evaluate performance, and any violation of guidelines will be addressed.
Please read the guidelines and dress code listed with your student. If you would like your student to get involved, please have them fill out the application form, then review and authorize it with your signature.
Once we receive your application, we’ll be in contact to set up an interview.

We believe your student is going to have an awesome time serving in KidLife and gain valuable spiritual rewards!

God bless you!

KidLife Ministry Student Go Team Guidelines

We value the time you spend assisting and ministering in our classrooms. Accomplishing our mission to serve our kids requires effort and responsibility. For this reason, we have guidelines set in place so you will know what “to do” and what “not to do.” Please check each box as you read them as acknowledgement.

KidLife Dress Code

During a typical class, a KidLife Go Team Member might play on the floor with a child, raise their hands during worship or have a runny nose wiped on their shoulder. What we wear must be appropriate for all sorts of situations. Therefore, proper dress must be modest, comfortable, and stay in place while being active with the kids. We ask that you NOT wear shorts, dresses/skirts above the knee, graphics T-shirts other than
(KidLife or Christian based), tank tops of any type.
