About August Missions Track

Missions Track is a four week program at CLF designed to help people understand the biblical basis for missions and ways to effectively minister with a team for maximum impact.

1) Theology of missions
2) Ministering cross-culturally
3) Team dynamics
4) Self-care

The sessions focus on the most important aspects of short-term missions. We want everyone to understand God’s heart for missions and the vital relationship it has to us as a local church. Those who go through the course will grow in their understanding of the ‘why’ behind missions, how to minister cross-culturally, the positives and difficulties of operating within a team, and how to recognize negative triggers and the attacks of the enemy while properly caring for your own well-being.

Each individual wanting to go on a short-term missions trip with CLF will be required to have completed Missions Track prior to their time of departure. Missions Track will be scheduled in such a way that it is available to participate in prior to any short-term missions trip that CLF is offering. Those unable to complete all four sessions prior to departure will need to contact the trip’s team leader or the CLF Missions Director for other potential arrangements.

Classes will take place for 4 consecutive Sundays in August during 2nd service in the LIFE Center.
