I am so glad you are interested in serving in KidLife. Children’s ministry is one of the most rewarding Service Team positions on the CLF Go Team. It is not for everyone, but anyone can do it if they have a heart to serve and a willingness to learn.
Here in KidLife we have been entrusted with the next generation of leadership. With that being said, we have one of the biggest responsibilities to train our volunteers well, as they will be leading the future leadership of the Kingdom!
In this form, you’ll find our Policy & Procedure Handbook (which contains all the safety and emergency guidelines for KidLife), a BackGround Check affidavit, and an attached KidLife application questionnaire.
Once your Application documents have been received, we will contact you to set up an interview.

There are a few things we ask of all our Go Team Members:

-Attend an interview/meeting with KidLife Area Coordinator

-Each Team Member is asked to complete an On-Boarding/orientation training. This process can be done in just a couple of weeks, or up to four weeks.

-Each Team Member is required to pass a Background Check as required by Florida Law for working with children. Please discuss any necessary issues or items that may be present on the background check with the director prior to your orientation. Background checks do cost money, but KidLife covers the cost for it’s volunteers. Because we incur the cost, we ask that you commit to a minimum of 6 months of serving (but we hope you will stay longer!) and that you give KidLife at least 30 days notice if you decide to serve elsewhere, so that we do not repeat your background check (as they do expire) unnecessarily.

I am so excited to meet you and serve alongside you in KidLife. It takes many hands to serve the kids here at CLF, and nothing thrills me more than training and equipping Go Team Members in their desire to raise up leaders in the next generation!

The following is a simple checklist of the required steps to serve in KidLife here at CLF. We can’t wait for you to begin blessing the children and families here at CLF through our KidLife Ministry. Thank You.

I am a member of CLF and attend regularly. When I serve, I must attend the alternate service in the adult sanctuary. Worship one, serve one or two *

When my application is processed, I understand that by law, a background check will be required before serving in KidLife. KidLife pays for every background check and in light of this fact, I commit to at least a 6 month of serving *

I give permission for Christian Life Fellowship to conduct a background check. *

I understand that I will be given a policy handbook and will sign/agree to the policies within. *

I will attend an initial interview and complete the KidLife “On Boarding”, to be scheduled after my application is submitted. *
